What is a Urogynecologist?
A urogynecologist is a physician who is:
- Board certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology and Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery.
- Fellowship-trained in Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery. This fellowship includes additional training that focuses on advanced treatment options for pelvic floor disorders, including surgical and non-surgical therapies.
