Dr. Kirshenbaum graduated from Rutgers University with High Honors and a bachelor’s degree in chemistry. He continued to Robert Wood Johnson Medical School to receive his Doctor of Medicine degree. At the medical school Dr. Kirshenbaum was elected to the Alpha Omega Alpha society–a distinction given to only a few top students. His surgical and urology residency training was at Stony Brook University Hospital in New York. At Stony Brook, Dr. Kirshenbaum was trained in urologic oncology, renal transplantation, and reconstructive procedures to correct male and female incontinence using the latest minimally invasive techniques.
Dr. Kirshenbaum’s academic accomplishments are exemplified by a list of articles published in peer review journals as well as abstracts and presentations in national and international meetings. He is an active member of the American Urological Association and is board certified by the American Board of Urology. Dr. Kirshenbaum is on staff at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital and CentraState Hospital.
