Chris Schaefer, D.O., graduated cum laude with a Bachelor of Science degree from Loyola University in 1996. He later received his doctorate degree from UMDNJ School of Osteopathic Medicine in Stratford, NJ. He completed his urology residency at Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine and joined the practice in July 2007.
Dr. Schaefer is well versed in the latest treatment options available for common urological conditions such as urological cancers, prostate enlargement (BPH), kidney stone disease, and erectile dysfunction (ED). He has advanced expertise and a particular interest in the latest prosthetic devices such as penile implants, artificial urinary sphincters, and female/male slings.
Dr. Schaefer is Board Certified in urological surgery and an active member of several medical societies including: the American College of Osteopathic Surgeons, Pennsylvania Osteopathic Medical Association, and the Bucks County Medical Society.
