JFK University Medical Center has surpassed 10,000 robotic-assisted surgeries, a milestone driven in large part by the leadership of Dr. Michael Lasser

Since launching the program as its only robotic surgeon in 2016, Dr. Lasser has helped grow it into a 27-surgeon multidisciplinary team and one of New Jersey’s fastest-growing robotic surgery programs. He credits advances in robotic technology with allowing surgeons to perform more complex procedures through minimally invasive techniques, enabling approximately 90% of his patients to return home the day after surgery with less pain, faster recovery, and excellent outcomes.

Dr. Michael Lasser serves as the Medical Director of Robotic Surgery at JFK University Medical Center and as a urologist with New Jersey Urology. You can read the full article here..
