The type of low intensity shockwave therapy upon which UWave is based has been shown to be most effective in men with mild to moderate vascular erectile dysfunction. We encourage all interested patients to schedule a consultation to discuss their case in detail and determine the treatment option that suits them best.
Does shockwave have any side effects?

The focused linear shockwave therapy that UWave is based on has been proven to be incredibly safe and is actually thought to be safer than oral medications like sildenafil (Viagra) and tadalafil (Cialis).

Is shockwave covered by insurance?

No. Although most patients’ initial consultation is covered by insurance, the UWave treatment itself is not covered.
